About the AdamsCar Component

The AdamsCar component allows you to create a direct link to Adams/Car. The component exposes the supported parameters and properties defined in the Adams/Car database of vehicles and suspensions. You can modify the values of input parameters. During execution, Adams/Car executes the simulation with the modified values and recalculates the output parameters.

You can use Isight process components (such as DOE and Optimization) to iterate through the design space and optimize the model.

To start the AdamsCar Component Editor, double-click the AdamsCar component icon . When you have finished configuring the AdamsCar Component Editor, click OK to close the editor.
