Using Build Model as the Execution Pattern

You can specify the files needed to build the model.

Before you begin: You must first prepare the component (see Preparing the Component).

  1. Click the Execute tab.

  2. Click Browse to specify the Build Model Command (.bat) file.

  3. Navigate to the desired model command file, and click Open.

    The command file content appears in the File Content area on the Build Model Command subtab.

  4. View and edit the file content.

    1. Click Edit if you want to edit the file.

      The File Content area is highlighted.

    2. Click Save to save the changes.

  5. Click Browse to specify the Adams/View Command File (.cmd).

  6. Navigate to the desired command file, and click Open.

    The parameters in the Adams/View Command File appear in the List of Parameters on the Adams/View Command File subtab.

  7. Select the parameters.

    Option Description
    Click the check box in Active column Select an individual parameter.
    Check Select all the parameters.
    Uncheck Clear all the selected parameters.

  8. Add the selected parameters to the Parameters area.

    Click to add the selected parameter to the Parameter List.

    Click to remove the selected parameter from the Parameter List.

  9. If desired, edit the parameter values.
