Selecting the Input Parameters

You can select the parameters present in the ACF, ADM, and selected subsystem files.

Before you begin: You must first select the input file and prepare the component (see Selecting the Input File and Preparing the Component).

  1. Click the Input tab.

    The Condition subtab appears.

    The Input tab has Condition and Compliance subtabs. In addition to these subtabs, a subtab for each selected subsystem appears.

    For example, if you have selected body and loading subsystems, the component creates Condition, body, loading, and Compliance subtabs.

  2. View and edit the parameters on the Condition subtab.

    The parameters present in the ACF file appear on this subtab.

    You can see the Name, Unit, and Value of each parameter.

    All the parameters selected are added to the Parameter area. You can use these parameters with your Isight model.

    The ACF Parameter column shows the name of the parameter in the ACF file, and the Parameter column shows the name of the parameter in Isight.

    If desired, edit the parameter name from the Parameter column, and edit the value from the Value column of the Parameter area.

  3. Select the parameters present in the selected subsystems, and add them to Isight.

    1. Click the subtab created for the selected subsystem.

      The parameters present in the subsystem appear. You can see the name and value of each parameter.

    2. Select the parameters.

      • Click the check box to select an individual parameter.
      • Click All Check to select all the parameters.
      • Click All Uncheck to clear the selected parameters.

    3. Add the selected parameters to the Parameter area.

      Click to add the selected parameters to the Parameter area.

      Click to remove the selected parameters from the Parameter area.

      You can use these parameters with your Isight model.

    4. If desired, edit the parameter name from the Parameter column, and edit the value from the Value column of the Parameter area.
    5. Click Sync Check State to synchronize the check boxes with the parameters in the Parameter area.

  4. Select the Compliance parameters, and add them to Isight.

    1. Click the Compliance tab.

      The parameters present in the ADM file appear on this subtab.

      You can see the Name, Unit, and Value of each parameter.

      The subtab also displays the value of the RisetoCurb parameter set in the Condition subtab.

    2. Select the parameters by doing any of the following:

      • Click the check box to select an individual parameter.
      • Click All Check to select all the parameters.
      • Click All Uncheck to clear the selected parameters.

    3. Add the selected parameters to the Parameter area.

      Click to add the selected parameters to the Parameter area.

      Click to remove the selected parameters from the Parameter area.

      You can use these parameters with your Isight model.

    4. If desired, edit the parameter name from the Parameter column, and edit the value from the Value column of the Parameter area.

  5. Click OK to save your changes and to return to the Design Gateway.
