Selecting the Output File and Parameters

You can select the output parameters and the output files.

  1. Double-click the Madymo component icon .

    The Madymo Component Editor appears.

  2. From the Madymo Component Editor, click the Output tab.

    The component creates Injury and Displacement, Peak Values, and Output Files subtabs, and the Injury and Displacement subtab appears.

    The File Parameter list displays the output file parameters.

  3. Select the Injury and Displacement parameters.

    1. From the Injury and Displacement subtab, click a parameter.

      The maximum value and maximum time of the selected parameter appear in the MaxValue and MaxTime fields, only if the selected parameter has these values.

    2. Select Max Value or Max Time parameters by doing any of the following:

      • Click the check box to select an individual parameter.
      • Click Check to select all the parameters.
      • Click Uncheck to clear the selected parameters.

    3. Add the selected parameters to the table at the bottom of the editor.

      The parameters in this table can be used in your Isight model.

      Click to remove the selected parameters from the table.

    4. If desired, edit the parameter name or value.

  4. Select the Peak Parameters.

    1. Click the Peak Values subtab.
    2. Click a parameter.

      The minimum value, maximum value, minimum time and maximum time of the selected parameter appear in the MinValue, MaxValue, MinTime, and MaxTime fields only if the selected parameter has these values.

    3. Select Min Value, Max Value, Min Time, or Max Time parameters by doing any of the following:

      • Click the check box to select an individual parameter.
      • Click Check to select all the parameters.
      • Click Uncheck to clear the selected parameters.

    4. Add the selected parameters to the table at the bottom of the editor.

      The parameters in this table can be used in your Isight model.

    5. If desired, edit the parameter name or value.

  5. Add the Output Files.

    1. Click the Output Files subtab.
    2. Click Add Output Files.
    3. Navigate to the desired file, and click Open.
    4. The file appears in the Output File List.

      You can see the name and path of the file.

  6. Click OK to close the editor and to return to the Design Gateway.
