as desired.
Option |
Description |
Name |
Enter a name for the interpreter. The name
appears in the OS Command Type list on the OS
Command Component Editor. Note:
The names of the interpreters must be unique.
|
Executable |
Enter the full path to the interpreter.
You can also click Browse to locate the interpreter. |
Extension |
Enter the interpreter extension. For
example, Windows batch files need the “bat” extension. |
Arguments |
Enter any default arguments for the
interpreter. |
Note:
When the OS Command executes, the executable for the
interpreter is loaded from the OS Command preferences. If the preferences
are unavailable, such as on SIMULIA Execution Engine
stations, the executable information from the component is used. An error
message is generated if the interpreter is not found during the OS Command
component’s execution.
If you are working in a SIMULIA Execution Engine
environment, set any affinities, as desired.
You can use the affinity options to control which stations can execute
the component when working in a SIMULIA Execution Engine
environment. You can specify the operating system, station name, or other
information pertaining to the component. For more information about the
affinities, see Configuring the Affinities.
If desired, select the interpreter from the list, and change the appropriate
information.
To delete an interpreter, select the interpreter from the list, and
click Delete.
Click OK to save your changes and to close the
dialog box.
