Marking an Extension as Privileged

An extension that requires credential privileges must be published to the Isight library. After publication, a user in the FiperAdmin security role must designate the extension as having credential privileges. Only a user in the FiperAdmin security role can change the privilege status of a published extension. Privilege status is changed in the Isight library user interface.

Before you begin: You must be logged onto the SIMULIA Execution Engine and must be a member of the FiperAdmin security role; see the SIMULIA Execution Engine Installation and Configuration Guide.
  1. Open the Isight library from the Isight Design Gateway by using the Library toolbar button or by selecting Library from the View menu. For more details, see Using the Isight Library in the Isight User’s Guide.

  2. In the Isight Library dialog box, locate the extension in the list, select it, and click View Details.

  3. Check the Secure Credentials box in the Privileges section to enable the privilege, and click OK to update the library.

Privilege status applies to all versions of a published extension.
