If you no longer need an approximation, you can permanently
remove it from Isight
from the Design Gateway
or the Runtime Gateway.
Note:
If you want to disable an approximation and
prevent it from executing at run time, you can deactivate the approximation
(see Visualizing Approximations).
Important:
If you are selecting a component that is in a
Task Plan, you must select the component using the model explorer.
Do one of the following:
From the Design Gateway,
Select the component for which you want to create an approximation:
Select a component on the Sim-flow tab or in
the model explorer, and click the Approximations
button on the component title bar.
Right-click the component on the Sim-flow
tab or in the model explorer, and select Approximations.
The Approximations dialog box appears.
In the Activated column, select the approximation
that you want to delete.
Click Delete.
A warning message appears prompting if you want to delete the approximation.
Click OK.
Isight
deletes the approximation.
Click Close to exit the Approximations
dialog box and to return to the Design Gateway.
From the Runtime Gateway,
Select a component on the Sim-flow tab or in
the model explorer.
Click the Visual Design tab, and select the approximation
from the list next to the component title bar.
A warning message appears.
Click OK.
The approximation is deleted and is no longer accessible from the Approximations
dialog box.
