Select the component whose approximation you want to visualize.
-
From the Design Gateway,
- Select a component on the Sim-flow tab or in
the model explorer, and click the Approximations
button on the component title bar.
- Right-click the component on the Sim-flow
tab or in the model explorer, and select Approximations.
The Approximations dialog box appears.- In the Activated column, select the approximation
that you want to visualize.
- Click Visualize.
The Approximation Viewer dialog box appears.
From the Approximation Viewer or the Visual
Design tab, verify that you are viewing the graphs in thumbnail
format. If you are viewing a full-size version of a graph, double-click
the graph or click the button to return to the thumbnail format.
Click the button on the right side of the Graphs
tab or the Visualization subtab.
The Add/Remove Graphs dialog box appears.
-
Choose the type of graph you want to create (2D Graph,
3D Graph, Contour Graph,
Local Effects, or Global Effects)
using the tabs near the top of the dialog box.
-
Depending on the type of graph you are creating, do one of the following:
2D Graph or 3D Graph.
From the Axis lists, select the parameters that
will represent each axis. Selecting multiple parameters for a single
axis will create multiple graphs. You can click Select All
to create a graph for each listed parameter. Because 2D Graphs are
displayed in a table, only an entire column or row can be added. Selecting
an additional input or output parameter adds a new column or row to the
2D Graph table.
- Contour Graph. From the Axis
lists, select the parameters that will represent each axis. Selecting
multiple parameters for a single axis will create multiple graphs. You
can click Select All to create a graph for each
listed parameter.
- Local or Global Effects Graph.
Select the output parameters that will be included on the graph. You
can select multiple parameters. You can click Select All
to create multiple graphs simultaneously (one for each output selected).
-
Click OK.
Isight
adds the graph to the appropriate tab.
If you are working in the Design Gateway,
click OK to close the Approximation
Viewer and to return to the Approximations
dialog box.
