Opening a Job from a Database

You can use the Job Database interface to open a job stored in the database. Selecting a job from the database automatically opens the associated model in the Runtime Gateway; therefore, you do not need to first load a model and then load a job.

Warning: Loading multiple jobs simultaneously using the Runtime Gateway may result in system memory problems. It is recommended that you view only a few jobs at the same time. If you continue to load more than a few jobs in one Runtime Gateway session, you should unload the jobs you are no longer viewing to reduce your system’s memory use. For more information on unloading jobs, see Removing Jobs from Memory.

  1. Open the Job Database interface as described in Accessing the Job Database Interface.

  2. From the Job List, locate the job you want to open.

When you select a job, the job details appear in the lower portion of the dialog box (see The Job Overview, The Job Sizing Overview, or The Run Summary).

  3. Click Load Job.

Isight loads the job in the Runtime Gateway.
