Stopping Running Jobs

You can use the Job Database interface to stop jobs that are currently running.

If you are executing on a SIMULIA Execution Engine, you can stop jobs only if you have the proper permissions.

  1. Open the Job Database interface as described in Accessing the Job Database Interface.

  2. From the Job List, locate the job you want to stop. The job must have the icon in the Status column, indicating that the job is currently executing.

  3. Do one of the following:

    • Click the job to select it, and click the button on the right side of the Job Database interface.

    • Right-click the job, and click Stop Job.

Tip: Alternatively, you can stop the run by clicking the button in the Runtime Gateway toolbar. A icon appears on the toolbar. The also appears above components that were not executed. Components that were already submitted to the SIMULIA Execution Engine station will be executed.

Isight stops the job, and the icon in the Status column is replaced with the icon.
