Copying Folders

After you have created folders, you can copy them to create a customized library structure. When you copy a folder, you also copy all the published objects and folders beneath it.

  1. From the View menu, select Library or click Library on the Design Gateway toolbar.

    The Isight Library appears.

  2. To copy a folder, select the folder and click Copy Folder .

Tip: You can also right-click the folder, and select Copy Folder.

You cannot copy a folder if there are metamodels (e.g., components, plug-ins, units, etc.) published beneath it. For more information about metamodels, see Organization within the Isight Library.

Note: If you are connected to a SIMULIA Execution Engine, you must have at least READ permission on the selected folder and on all objects and folders beneath it to copy the selected folder.

  3. Select the desired destination folder (or click Library to move or copy the folder to the top-level folder), and click Paste Folder .

Tip: You can also right-click the folder, and select Paste Folder.

Isight copies the folder to the new location.
