Suppressing/Activating a Component in the Simulation Process Flow

You can suppress any component except the root component in the simulation process flow. The simulation process flow continues after the suppressed component as if the component was not in the simulation process flow. Therefore, no run data are available for the suppressed component, and all mappings are ignored. After suppressing a component, you can easily activate the component again. The component executes as part of the simulation process flow as if it had not been suppressed.

  1. From the Design Gateway or the Runtime Gateway, select a model.

  2. Right-click the component that you want to suppress or activate in the simulation process flow, and select the appropriate option:

    • Select Disable to suppress the component.

The component appears dimmed in the simulation process flow.

    • Select Enable to activate the component.

The component is available in the simulation process flow

  3. If desired, save the model.
