Obtaining a Summary of the Model Contents

You can view the number of components, parameters, and files in a model.

  1. From the Design Gateway, select a model.

  2. To display the quantity of each model element, do the following:

    1. From the Design Gateway Edit menu, select Model Properties.

      Tip: You can also click the button next to the model selector.

    2. Click the Contents tab.

      The Contents tab displays the quantity of each model element (e.g., components, parameters, and files) contained in the current model. The information displayed includes the parameter and file types.

    3. Click OK to close the Model Properties dialog box and to return to the Design Gateway.

  3. To view a high-level content summary, hover the mouse pointer over the model name in the model selector on the Design Gateway or Runtime Gateway.

  4. To view the quantity of each type of parameter, hover the mouse pointer over the Parameters node or the Files node in the model explorer.

    The total number of parameters is shown next to the Parameters node. Similarly, the total number of files is shown next to the Files node.
