Drag and Drop a Process Component Onto a Process Component
You can drag and drop a process component from the component palette onto an existing process component on the Sim-flow tab to encapsulate it.
From the Design Gateway, select a model.
Drag and drop a process component onto an existing process component. The Specify Action dialog box appears.
Choose one of the following: - Change the existing component to the new component
- Encapsulate the existing component with the new component
- Add the new component as a child component of the existing component
If desired, select Always use this answer and do not ask again. Isight saves the action as a preference (see Setting Gateway Preferences).

You can drag and drop a process component from the component palette onto an existing application component on the Sim-flow tab to encapsulate it.
From the Design Gateway, select a model.
Drag and drop a process component onto an existing application component. The existing component is encapsulated under the new process component.

You can drag and drop an application component from the component palette onto an existing application component on the Sim-flow tab to encapsulate it.
From the Design Gateway, select a model.
Drag and drop an application component onto an existing application component. The existing component is changed to the new component. The Specify Action dialog box appears.
Choose one of the following: - Copy existing parameters to new component
- Delete existing component

From the Design Gateway, select a model.
Drag and drop an application component onto an existing process component. The Specify Action dialog box appears.
Choose how or if you want to add the new component to the existing component's workflow. - Add to the end of the workflow
- Add to the beginning of the workflow
- Do not add to the workflow
