Introduction

The upgrade script plug-in allows you to upgrade a script from a previous release of Abaqus to the current release of Abaqus. The plug-in allows you to do the following:

  • Upgrade across several releases of Abaqus.

  • Choose both the release of the original script and the release of the resulting upgraded script.

  • Upgrade a single script or all the scripts in a specified directory.

  • Preview the changes to your script that resulted from the upgrade process, and, if the changes are acceptable, proceed with the upgrade.
