Automatically Generating a Report after Model Execution

You can configure Isight to automatically generate a report following execution. You cannot automatically generate a report without executing the model first.

  1. From the Design Gateway, click the Model Properties button .

    1. Click the Post Execution tab, and select Generate report after execution from Gateway.
    2. Click OK.
    3. Save the model.

      Important: Be sure to save the model once you select Generate report after execution from Gateway. This option activates the feature, but you still have to set the preference to allow it to occur after execution (see Setting Report Generation Preferences).

  2. Click Edit, and select Preferences.

    1. Default Report Format. Determine if you want the report created as a MS Word – Windows Only file, a Text – Markdown file, or an HTML file. By default, MS Word is selected.
    2. Click Report Generation, and select Allow automatic generation of report after model execution.

      Selecting this option allows the report generation to occur.

    3. Default Location. Enter the path or click Browse to search for the location where you want the report to be saved.
    4. Click OK.

      The report is generated automatically after you execute the model and uses the format and save location specified in the Design Gateway Preferences as described in Setting Report Generation Preferences.
